BIO

I have been passionate about good storytelling for as long as I can remember, but when I got to college I decided to start seriously investing in my dream of being a journalist. Since then, I have developed my writing skills and fostered my inherent curiosity via working for my university's student newspaper, becoming Editor in Chief at non-profit start-up Electric Potential, and taking production assistant gigs whenever I have the opportunity. I have also spent the past four years committed to expanding my understanding of the world by majoring in sociology and cultural studies. Now, as a recent graduate, I am bursting at the seams ready to start reporting in the "real world." Recently, I have begun the journey of freelancing and have been fortunate enough to get one of my pieces published in an international publication (see my article for SKATEISM on my Work page).

 

I am an avid learner in life who is committed to the pursuit of social justice and driven by the challenges this pursuit presents. My curiosity and deep care for people fuel my interest in journalism. I have an eye, and a great appreciation, for human-centered storytelling.
